About Opal
Hi! My name is Opal. I was born in north Georgia USA and emigrated with my sister and parents to Portugal. My birthday is May 11, 2020. I am a Siberian Husky (87.5% husky and 12.5% Asian companion dog – per my DNA test results). When I first met my family (in the Walmart parking lot in Lithia Springs, GA on Thornton Road), I was shy and unsure. But I quickly came into my own as a positive, outgoing, and friendly dog.
My likes: I like meeting new people and dogs at the park or anywhere I find them. I enjoy traveling, taking walks, and chasing my sister around the house.
My dislikes: cats, vegetables, and being left home when my parents leave the house.
Feel free to come visit – I love guests. Don’t forget that my birthday is May 11th!

About Onyx
Hi! My name is Onyx. I was born in Fort Payne, Alabama USA on May 27, 2020. I am a purebred Labrador Retriever. ‘Lab’ is used as the common name for my breed of dogs, but ‘Retriever’ should be emphasized. I love chasing balls, I love catching balls, and I love bringing them back so they can be thrown again. I like retrieving balls more than anything else in the world. So much so, I must be monitored so that I don’t fall victim to my Exercise-induced collapse. It’s scary, but my folks watch out for it, and we manage the workouts as best we can.
My likes: I like…well, see above. I love going with my family wherever they go – in the car, for a walk, or from room to room in the house. I have never refused any food that is offered to me, so I guess I’m fond of food, also.
My dislikes: Being scolded for barking (barking is a necessary part of life), being chased around the house by my sister (I prefer to do the chasing), and buzzing insects.
