December is here, and this is the season of Christmas Markets and Christmas Fairs. Of course, we wanted to check them out. There are many to choose from, as most villages do something to celebrate the season. We started our list in Santa Tirso. The lights and music and families enjoying the festivities really made me feel like Christmas was here. It was very jolly, and Chris managed to find a food truck that was selling barbeque. Chris had a pulled pork sandwich, and I had a sausage roll. Speaking with the food truck owner, he told us the barbeque was a new interest for him, and that he also owned a restaurant in Vila Nova de Famaliçao (Capicua – Pizza and Simple Foods). If the food at Capicua is as good as the barbeque food truck, we will have to get up to Famaliçao soon!
